FELICITAS
fabula vera
Felicitas stands for timeless traditional attire and feminine fashion with character.
Rooted in Salzburg and carried by nearly a hundred years of history
we combine craftsmanship, quality, and responsibility into clothing that lasts.
The name Felicitas – Latin for joy –
reminds us of a woman who stood for character, care, and clarity.
This form of quiet strength shapes our brand to this day.

How We Produce
Production is not an anonymous process for Felicitas, but a matter of relationships. Our fabrics are predominantly produced in European family businesses.
From these high-quality materials, our long-standing partner company in Eastern Ukraine carefully crafts the Felicitas collection.
Even in challenging times, we consciously maintain this collaboration and support social projects locally.

Our Collection & Materials
Our collections do not follow a fast fashion rhythm. They evolve in the rhythm of the seasons and are guided by clarity, calmness, and wearability.
Feminine silhouettes meet timeless cuts that stand out in everyday life as well as in special moments.
Characteristic of Felicitas is the conscious restraint: Each model thrives on a carefully crafted detail rather than loud effects. We work with natural fibers such as cotton (preferably in organic quality), linen from Flanders, Tencel, loden, and selected wool and cashmere blends.

Our Team
Felicitas is run by Kathrin and Sebastian Proft. With the aim of not just managing heritage, but responsibly carrying it forward. The history of the house dates back to 1928, with a constant focus on the future.
Our team combines design, craftsmanship, organization, and sales. Many have been with the company for years. Decisions are made through exchange, experience is valued, and closeness is lived – with producers, partners, and customers.
This attitude shapes our daily work. Care, respect, and openness are the foundation of our collaboration and are reflected in each individual piece.
Sustainability
COLLECTIONS
We understand sustainability as a consequence of our way of working. As part of the Good Fashion Group, we – like Stapf and Kings of Indigo – focus on durable designs, natural materials, and responsible production.
MATERIALS
Our fabrics come, whenever possible, from Europe and from certified sources. Natural fibers are the focus because they are comfortable to wear and can be processed in a more resource-efficient manner. Short transport distances help reduce emissions.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Social responsibility is also part of it: In Nepal
we work with partner companies that create fair conditions. In
Ukraine and other European countries, we rely on established
family businesses and long-term collaboration. Sustainability is reflected
in the result for us – clothing that lasts for many years.
